Park Inn By Radisson Frankfurt Airport: Budget Hotel

The Park Inn By Radisson Frankfurt Airport was just the job! It was cheap and right next to Frankfurt Airport.

I only paid 60 euros for a room at the Park Inn by Radisson Frankfurt Airport Hotel. I was able to get there in 15 minutes.

Beyond that, the hotel definitely impressed. It was smart and modern.

When I arrived at midnight after a delayed flight, I wasn't looking for luxury. I was knackered and just needed a place to crash for a few hours before heading out again at 5 a.m. When you're 22, you sleep on airport floors without blinking. Happily, those days are gone — but I wasn't about to spend a fortune on a bed I'd barely use either.

The room proved exactly what I needed. It was compact but thoughtfully laid out: a double bed, small desk, modern shower and a telly. The second-floor view overlooked the street, and the room was in very good condition.

The hotel had a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, which means you can grab a quick bite or coffee without leaving the building. That's handy when you're in transit mode.

For an overnight airport stay near Frankfurt, you really can't beat this kind of value. If you need reliable airport transfers to get to the hotel, head over to my Recommended Resources page — you'll find Welcome Picks and the other deals I actually use.

The location

The Park Inn by Radisson Frankfurt Airport Hotel is close to the airport. I took train line S8 from the airport. It was one stop that took two minutes. I stood around for ten minutes waiting for the next S8.

That S8 option is the main story here at the Park Inn by Radisson. You're not coming to Frankfurt—you're stopping between flights because your schedule demands it. The train gets you there in minutes, plus a wait. That's genuinely all the location needs to deliver, and it does.
