13 of the best hotels in Bicester Village

I think we can all agree that Bicester Village is amazing! Buying luxury clothes at half price is pretty terrific. However, the popular shops get very busy and the only solution is to arrive at 8am. An overnight hotel is then a must. But which hotel should you stay at? There’s some excellent hotels in Bicester Village, and I’ll cover 13 of the best in this article.

Whether you want a Bicester Hotel Spa, cheap hotel or a pet friendly place, I’ve got you covered!

Walking Distance to Bicester Village

1. Bicester Holiday Inn Express: My personal fave

The Bicester Holiday Inn Express is my go to hotel in Bicester. I’ve been there multiple times – review here. For me, the hotel is ideal. It’s 10 minutes walk to Bicester Village, Parking is free and Breakfast is free. The hotel is clean and modern. It’s also good value, with rates from £40. I’ve had a good experience every time I’ve stayed there. I also earn IHG points, which I use to stay at places like the Intercontinental Paris.

2. Littlebury Bicester

The Littlebury is another hotel in Bicester Village. It’s just 10 minutes walk from the outlet mall. The hotel has been open since 1959, and looks to be a charming little hotel. Rates start at £120, and that includes a free breakfast. Given that there’s no pool or spa, I find this price to be a little expensive.

The Bicester Holiday Inn is definitely better value.

Relaxing Spa Breaks

3. Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa

The Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa is a 10 minute drive from Bicester Village. The hotel is located on a golf course and is the closest Spa Hotel to Bicester Village. The hotel also has a swimming pool, spa and tennis courts. It’s a great option for a relaxing weekend break. Prices start at £99/night.

4. Doubletree By Hilton Oxford Belfry

The Hilton Doubletree Oxford is my personal favourite for a spa break. It’s a little further from Bicester Village, but it’s a classy little hotel. The hotel is 15 miles from Bicester. About a 20 minute drive. It’s well located if you want to visit Oxford too. The hotel has a pool, spa and tennis courts. It’s also a pet friendly hotel with free parking. Rates start at £85, which is pretty good in this part of the world.

A Short Drive to the Village

5. The Lion Bicester

The Lion Bicester is just a 5 minute drive from the Village – 2 miles away. There is free breakfast for all guests and parking is free. It’s also a pet friendly hotel. Prices start at £150/night, which is a bit of kicker. There’s no spa or swimming pool.

6. The Bell at Hampton Poyle

The Bell at Hampton Poyle is 8 miles from the hotel. A 15 minute drive. There is free breakfast and free parking for all guests. The hotel describes itself as “an Old country Inn turned into a boutique hotel.” Prices start at £90.

Budget Friendly Hotels

7. The Plough Bicester

The Plough Bicester is a good value hotel in Bicester Village. It’s a 10 minute drive from the outlet mall, just one mile away. Prices start at £55 for a single room, and that includes breakfast. However, the facilities look very basic.

8. The Jersey Arms

The Jersey Arms is about a 10 minute drive from Bicester Village – 3 miles away. It’s an Old Fashioned British Bed and Breakfast, attached to a pub. Prices start at £50 for one night.

9. Travelodge Bicester

The Travelodge Bicester is an inexpensive hotel in Bicester Village. 10 minutes drive from the outlet mall. Rates start as low as £50. What’s not to like? Quite a lot actually. According to reviews, the hotel looks like a dog’s dinner. People complain about the customer service, the lift being broken and the building being grotty. Tripadvisor visitors use phrases like “lower your standards” and “filthy hole.” There’s also no car park – you’ll need to use a public car park.

10. Travelodge Bicester Cherwell Valley

The Travelodge Bicester Cherwell Valley is another budget option. Prices start at £50 for a night. The hotel is 6 miles away from Bicester Village, about 15 minutes to drive. 12. The Pointer

The pointer is another budget option. Room rates start a £50. The hotel is located in a pub, 8 miles from Bicester Village. About a 20 minute drive. The hotel is pet friendly. The rooms look pretty modern and smart.

13. Premier Inn Bicester Hotel

Conclusion

Bicester Village is a terrific place to buy designer gear at large discounts. If you visit, there’s every reason to stay the night or two. Make a weekend out of it! In this article, I’ve provided some excellent hotels to stay at.

If you’re new to my blog, then welcome! As I’m based in London, I travel a lot around the UK. The Radisson Blu Liverpool is one hotel that I’ve reviewed. The hotel has a great location in the city centre, as well as a swimming pool and spa. I wasn’t too pleased with breakfast however!

The Gulf Air Lounge in Heathrow Terminal 4 is decent, but certainly not spectacular. The highlight of my visit was the beautiful shot I got of a Gulf Air Dreamliner right outside the lounge. The lounge was well designed, but I didn’t enjoy the food. I’m picky, I know!

The Plaza Premium Lounge in Heathrow Terminal 2 is often voted as the best contract lounge in the world. I think the lounge is good, but definitely not the best in the world. After all, there’s no natural light. The lounge has a classy décor and a decent buffet spread.
