This article describes the different Heathrow Airport Lounges and how to get access. I also explain how to get a 30% discount for a Priority Pass Membership. So each lounge visit only costs £18.30.
Heathrow Airport is the busiest airport in Europe. There are around 40 Heathrow Airport Lounges!
Lounges are a wonderful way to start your holiday. With unlimited food, unlimited alcohol, your own personal space and fast wi-fi. But you already knew that! That’s why you’re here.
There’s two types of airport lounges. Airline lounges and independent lounges. To get access to airline lounges, you need to be travelling in business class or have status with specific airlines. Long Haul Business class fares from Heathrow typically start at £2,000. Peak fares to New York can cost £6,000.
It's also very difficult to access airlines lounges with airline status. British Airways require £7,500 of spend to get Silver Status. Which comes with lounge access for 1 year. Definitely not worth it!
Independent lounges are the same as airline lounges, but they’re not run by airlines. You can pay for entry, without having to pay for a business class ticket. The most popular way to get access is with a Priority Pass Membership. Which provides access to over 1,700 airport lounges worldwide.
If you use my exclusive link, then you get a 30% Priority Pass Discount. Thanks to Priority Pass for providing this generous offer. Be nice to Priority Pass, otherwise they might pull the plug on the deal!
Priority Pass membership starts at £48 for Standard Membership. Standard Plus Membership costs £183 per year and comes with 10 free lounge visits. So each visit costs £18.30. Which is amazing value for unlimited food, unlimited drinks and your own personal space.
A Priority Pass Membership is easily the best value way to eat in an airport terminal. These days, it costs £18.30 for a sandwich, muffin and coffee in Starbucks! I’ve been a member of Priority Pass for over 10 years. I’ve loved it and I won’t go back!
One thing to note is that Heathrow Airport Lounges can hit capacity, and require people to queue outside. You can pay £6 to Priority Pass to guarantee entry to a lounge on a given day. Use this link to pre-book access. It’s well worth the money!

There are two Plaza Premium Lounges in Heathrow Terminal 4. They can both be accessed with a Priority Pass. Plaza Premium operate the Blush Lounge. They also operate the main Plaza Premium Lounge. Which has lovely food and decor.
