This review is for the My Lounge in Gatwick North Terminal. The home of EasyJet.
This Gatwick Lounge Priority Pass is nice. With English breakfast, complimentary alcohol and a classy decor.
I enjoyed the ambience. Low mood lighting and dark wood tones were perfect for my 5am visit. You can see into the lounge from the outside, and it was so inviting!
The lounge can be accessed with a Priority Pass. Signup here for a 30% discount.
There were a couple of nice touches too. The lounge had table football and arcade games for kids to play with.
I was in there for an hour during breakfast time. And I enjoyed my stay. I would have liked to have stayed for 30 minutes more. However, I had woken up at 3.30am to get my 7.20am Easyjet flight. I had no desire to get up any earlier than that!
This page on my website has my favourite travel tools. For how to save serious money on luxury travel.

Sign up to Priority Pass here for a 30% discount. The cheapest membership costs £48. Standard Plus Membership costs £183 and comes with 10 free lounge visits. So each visit costs £18.30.
Each visit offers unlimited food, unlimited alcohol, fast wi-fi and your own personal space.
This is clearly much cheaper than buying food and drinks in the airport terminal. Big Smoke Taphouse have a restaurant in Gatwick North Terminal. A full English breakfast costs £16.95 and cup of tea costs £3. Once you factor in service charge, you’re looking at nearly £25.
For many people, it’s better value to use an airport lounge rather than paying for food in the terminal. If you spend a couple of hours in the terminal, and have a decent meal with a few drinks. You’ll easily blow through £80. Big Smoke taphouse charge £11.75 for one glass of wine.
You could choose to economise and get lunch at Pret or Starbucks. But where’s the fun in that?! If you want, you go and spend £13 for a latte and a panini.
Gatwick has 12 Priority Pass Lounges and restaurants. Full details are on the Priority Pass Website.
One of my favourite Priority Pass Lounge reviews has to be the Primeclass Lounge in Muscat, Oman. They have 3 separate buffets, a swanky Nespresso machine, pool table, massage chairs, computer games consoles and so much more.
This Gatwick Lounge Priority Pass is in the north terminal. The home of EasyJet.
Once you pass through security, follow the signs to the lounges. The journey takes 5 minutes.
All of the other lounges are in the same area as the My Lounge. This is super convenient. Including the Emirates Lounge and other Priority Pass Lounges.
You can access the No1 Lounge (review here) and the Plaza Premium Lounge (review here) with a Priority Pass. Qatar Airways doesn’t have a separate lounge. So they use Plaza Premium lounge for their Business Class Passengers.
I also have a review of the Plaza Premium Lounge North Terminal on my Youtube channel.
There are a separate set of lounges in Gatwick’s South Terminal. British Airways and Ryanair use the South Terminal. I have previously reviewed the BA Lounge in Gatwick’s South Terminal.
This Gatwick Lounge Priority Pass is rectangle shaped. There are windows to the outside on two sides. I was there at 5am, so it was still dark. No light was coming through.
One unique feature of the lounge is that it’s very open. You can see into the lounge from the terminal. The front of the lounge has a see-through window. The windows to the outside don’t look on to the runway. You can see the terminal walkway that everyone walks through to get to their gates.
So unlike most lounges, everyone can see into the My Lounge.
The lounge was medium sized. It’s open from 4am to 8pm.
I was at the lounge at 5am, and it was virtually empty. Which made for a very nice experience.
The seating consisted of large sharing tables, sofas and restaurant style tables and chairs. The ambience was really classy, with high quality pieces of furniture.
I didn’t see a kids play area. But there was table football and a computer games console. I thought this was a nice touch, and my kids enjoyed playing here for 10 minutes. With some other kids.
I enjoy table football, buy I didn’t get time to play. I had to eat breakfast, look after my kids and get a review done.
All of the food and drinks were self service. On the buffet counter. Which was next to the wall.
There was hot buffet with the following options
I had hash browns, veggie sausages and baked beans. Which were decent. Although a little bland.
The veggie sausages were cook to order. They weren’t the best quality sausages, but they had been cooked fresh and fried. So they tasted pretty good.
My kids had the pancakes from the Popcake machine. Which they both enjoyed.
The meat looked really nice too. The bacon was back bacon, which is popular in the UK. It didn’t look overcooked, and it didn’t look like it had been left out for long.
The sausages were flat sausages, like the ones you get at McDonalds! They had baps there, and a sign urging you to make your own breakfast bap. This probably explains the flat sausages.
The tea and coffee were self service. From a machine in the buffet. There was a selection of teas, Twinings branded.
I had an English breakfast tea. Which hit the spot.
Complimentary tea and coffee is an under-appreciated benefit of Priority Pass Lounges. A medium latte costs £4.95 at Starbucks. When I’m in a lounge, I’ll typically have two hot drinks.
The coffee won’t be as good as Starbucks, but I really appreciate the hot drinks in the morning.
Alcohol was complimentary and self service. There was a self service beer tap. I also saw self-service wine. I didn’t see any spirits, but I assume they were there.
It was 5am and I wasn’t going to have a drink! So I didn’t explore too deeply.
There was a small games room with table football and a games console.
The table football was the nicest I had ever seen. I would have loved to play it, but I didn’t have time. I didn’t have anyone to play with, apart form kids. I didn’t want to play against kids. I would get upset if I lost!
There was a retro style games console with games like Pac Man and Space Raiders.
This Gatwick Lounge Priority Pass is really good. Nice food, self service alcohol, lovely furniture and natural light. A great place relax before your North Terminal flight.
Priority Pass are the big beast of airport lounge networks, and the My Lounge didn’t disappoint!
My Lounge also operate a lounge in Heathrow Terminal 3. My review of that lounge is here. It can also be accessed with a Priority Pass Membership. The lounge was sooo busy.
