This review is for the No. 1 lounge in Heathrow Terminal 3. One of two Priority Pass lounges in terminal 3.
This Heathrow Terminal 3 lounge impressed me. With hot buffet, complimentary alcohol, runway views and a classy design. It was busy however.

You can access this Heathrow Terminal 3 lounge with a Priority Pass Membership. This was how I got access.
Priority Pass is the largest airport lounge network in the world. Gain access to over 1,800 airport lounges worldwide.
Signup here and get a 30% discount on membership. The cheapest membership is £48. Standard Plus Membership costs £183 and comes with 10 free lounge visits per year. So each visit costs £18.30.
£18.30 is good value for unlimited alcohol, unlimited food and your own personal space. I normally won’t drink alcohol at a lounge, but even then, it’s still great value.
The biggest weakness of Priority Pass is that the lounges are popular and they do get busy. If a lounge is busy, then you could get turned away. But you can pay £6 and pre-book a timeslot with Priority Pass. This will guarantee your entry.
One really cool thing about Priority Pass is that you can enter Virgin Clubhouses in the USA with membership. I reviewed the Virgin Clubhouse in New York, JFK. It was just as good as the Virgin Clubhouse Heathrow. With natural light, bottomless champagne and restaurant quality food.
If you need a Priority Pass lounge in Heathrow Terminal 3, there are two options. The No1 Lounge and the MyLounge.
In my view, Heathrow Terminal 3 is the best terminal in the UK for the airport lounges. This terminal also has the only AMEX Centurion Lounge in the UK. My review of that lounge is here.
The No1 Lounge Heathrow is located in Terminal 3. In Terminal 3, the lounges are all next to each other. A 5 minute walk after security.
The lounge is next to the My Lounge (review here), which is also a Priority Pass lounge in Heathrow Terminal 3. I’ve previously visited the My Lounge, and I think the No1 Lounge is better. Just sayin’!
But both lounges are way better than sitting in the terminal!
There’s also the Virgin Clubhouse in Terminal 3. My review of that lounge is here. It’s one of the best business class lounges in the world. With bottomless champagne, restaurant quality food and an outdoor terrace.
Heathrow Terminal 3 has a British Airways Lounge. My review is here. That lounge is good – but not as good as the Virgin Clubhouse. They have Prosecco, rather than champagne!
This Heathrow Terminal 3 lounge is open daily from 5am to 10pm.
As soon as I attained entry to the lounge, I was shown to a specified seat. This is probably a good thing, as it helps the lounge to manage capacity restrictions.
However, it makes the No1 Lounge Heathrow experience less luxurious. Having an assigned table and not being able to move around.
The lounge was super busy when I was there. However, I had pre-booked a timeslot with Priority Pass. So I was able to get entry. Every seat was occupied.
The lounge is T shaped. With the top of the T facing out to the runway. There were runway views and natural light flooded the lounge. Which was really nice.
There were some fantastic shots of British Airways jets right outside the lounge.
The lounge design was classy. With dark tones, leather seats and cool pieces of furniture. A lot of the flooring and the worktops were marble effect, which created a feeling of luxury.
In terms of seating, there were low style lounge seats, leather armchairs and some large sharing tables.
The large sharing tables had power sockets. And were useful for using a laptop or for charging your devices.
I was there during breakfast. There was a full English breakfast and continental items. All of the food was self serve from the buffet counter.
The following was on offer
I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t eat. I had already eaten a big breakfast. And this wasn’t the only lounge I was visiting today!
All the food looked well made. The sausages were thick and smelt really nice. The bacon was back bacon and not too fatty.
One thing that was weird is that they offered hot tinned tomatoes in the buffet. I’ve never seen this before (apart from at No1 Lounges). Normally, buffets offer fresh cooked tomatoes.
The food basically looked exactly the same as the food at the No1 in Luton Airport. So kudos to No1 Lounges for their consistency! My review of the No1 Lounge Luton is here. It’s a lovely little lounge, and a great way to start any holiday.
The slideshow above has clear images of the food
Coffee was served from a self service machine.
There was a tea selection from Twinings.
There were also a range of soft drinks and water.
I had a chamomile tea. Which never disappoints! I had to eat or drink something, otherwise this review would have been a little pointless!
Alcohol was served from the manned bar. There were a rage of complimentary beers, wines and spirits. Premium drinks were chargeable.
It was 10am, so I didn’t touch the alcohol.
The Heathrow Terminal 3 lounge (No1 Lounge) does everything that I expect from a Priority Pass Lounge, and a little bit more. There was complimentary alcohol, hot food and your own space.
And the little bit more I refer to? That’s the runway views and the classy décor.
The No1 Lounge Heathrow is a great option for a Priority Pass Lounge in Heathrow Terminal 3. It’s a great place to relax before your flight.
If you find yourself in Heathrow Terminal 4, then the Plaza Premium is a good option. That lounge can also be accessed with a Priority Pass membership. My review of that lounge is here.
